Biography
Duncan Garrett began his professional photography career prior to his graduating from The London School of Printing. He spent several years as a staff photographer with the London Times Weekly while developing his own style of photography capturing people, landscapes and urban settings.
In 1977 Duncan moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career as a freelance photographer. In 1986 he discovered the North Coast of California and chose to relocate to Sonoma County because of its photographic beauty and commercial opportunities.
Duncan’s work as a commercial photographer in Sonoma County has been an asset to several of the regions most-read publications. His work includes a better than twenty year history with the region’s leading business magazine. He has also been associated with The Press Democrat newspaper, a New York Times owned publication, as a commercial contract photographer since 1989.
His commercial work includes people, places and products and he has been producing high quality images for websites since 2000.
