I began my career in professional photography after graduating from The London College of Printing in the United Kingdom where I spent several years working with London newspapers.
In 1986 I discovered the North Coast of California. relocating to Sonoma County because of its photographic beauty.
I have been associated with the region’s leading business magazine, North Bay BIz and The Press Democrat newspaper, a New York Times publication, since 1989.
Since I started using digital cameras in 2000, I no longer think about how many shots I should take and become totally involved with the process of connecting and capturing the essence of the subject before me. My commercial work involves people and places emphasizing their unique qualities. Portraits of all kinds, architecture, landscapes and wineries are my specialties.
